Here is everything you would like to know about the Junior Finance Wiz

Who Should Appear
The Junior Finance Wiz is meant for school students between standard 4 to 10. The exam is divided into three groups.

Group 1: Std 4 & 5 (Age group 9 to 10 years)

Group 2: Std 6 & 7 (Age group 11 to 12 years)

Group 3: Std 8, 9 & 10 (Age group (13 to 15 years)

Which boards can participate?
The olympiad is open for schools and students from all education boards (CBSE. ICSE, IB and all State boards)
Which schools can participate?
Any school from any part of the country can participate in the olympiad. The school should be affiliated to at least one board.
How it works?
Step 1: Registration

Take the first step to become a part of this movement by completing your registration and payment.

Step 2: Receive study material

We will send you our exhaustive study material to fine-tune your finance skills. Have fun while reading it.

Step 3: Prepare for the Olympiad

All registered participants will get access to 2 prep tests to get familiar with the test platform. We want you to feel at home

Step 4: Appear for the Olympiad

Stage 1: Take the Olympiad from your comfort zone and ace it!

Stage 2: If you clear, we will invite you to appear for the final round at a center near you.

Payment of registration fees
  1. Individual entries:
    When you create your profile, you will be directed to the payment gateway. You can pay the registration amount with the method of your choice (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net banking or e-Wallets). Please do not pay cash to anyone for individual registrations.
  2. School Registration:
    Registered schools will collect the participation fee from all participants and transfer it via online transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS) to the bank details furnished
The syllabus for olympiad is divided into two groups.

Lower grades (Download here): Applicable to Standard 4, 5, 6 and 7

Higher grades (Download here): Applicable to Standard 8, 9 and 10

Study Material
On successful registration and payment, we will send you the printed study material on your registered address.

If you are registered individually, you will receive the study material at your registered address at the time of registration.

If you are registered through your school, we will send the study material to your school and you can collect it from your coordinator.

Design of Study material:

The study material is designed to develop foundation and basic understanding of various topics. We cover all the topics in detail.

It is a simple to read and interesting way of learning about finance through various situations and examples.

Junior Finance Wiz Format
The Olympiad is completely online, you will have to log into your account on the day of the Olympiad to access the test and complete it.

Participants will also have access to prep tests to get familiar with the test module

The olympiad module uses an adaptive testing algorithm that will show you questions based on your responses. Please try to answer all questions as correctly as possible to ensure you score the higher.

How to prepare for the Junior Finance Wiz
The test will have questions that are based on situations and application of the topics you have learned. It is important that you prepare to apply the knowledge that you acquire by reading the study material.

Refer to the question banks in the study material or the online resources and prep tests to get familiar with the test question.

Appearing for the Junior Finance Wiz
It will take you approx. 90 minutes to appear for the test. The first 30 minutes is warm up and practice session to get into the exam mode.

The main test will be for 60 minutes. You will have to answer 45 questions one after the other.
If you skip questions, you will not be able to go back and answer it.

The test will auto submit on completion of the stipulated time.

Grading for the Junior Finance Wiz
There are five sections in each test as shown in the syllabus for both the groups. Participants will be ranked based on the cut-off marks for each section and the total number of marks received.


Please ensure you study for all the sections properly to clear the sectional cut-off and increase your chances of getting shortlisted.

For Individual Participants

How to appear for the Junior Finance Wiz: If you are an individual participant registered independently, you may appear for the stage 1 of the Junior Finance Wiz from your home or any place convenient to you. Please ensure you have the privacy and quiet atmosphere to concentrate on your test. You only get one chance at this. Read the technical requirements for the computer and other guidelines carefully. If you get shortlisted to stage 2, we will invite you to the nearest zonal center where you can appear for stage 2. We invite all schools to become registered centers for conducting the stage 2 of the Junior Finance Wiz. We will help you in getting set-up for the Junior Finance Wiz and conduct the examination.
